Wild Goose 2021 Red Horizon

A deeply coloured, soft and complex textural blend. The intense nose shows stewed black plums, black cherry, raspberry compote, vanilla, caramel and dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy fresh acidity, raspberry, mulberry and cassis fruits, ripe medium tannins with some paprika, cocoa, dried thyme, fig and pastry crust notes with a long, savoury finish. Pair this with grilled rib-eye steak and/or grilled vegetables with chimichurri or a rich Goulash. ~ Rhys Pender, Master of Wine
