2021 Late Harvest Gewürztraminer

A floral and fruity dessert wine with aromatic rose petal and honeysuckle aromas along with apricot, poached pear and fresh lemon. Medium sweetness on the palate with a lush texture, balancing crisp acidity and honey, apple pie, peach, clove and baking spice notes.

The 100% estate-grown grapes for our 2021 Late Harvest Gewürztraminer were harvested by hand in mid-October from the Seacrest Vineyard in Oliver. This is only the second vintage for us to produce a late harvest wine which was made from grapes that were left on the vine longer, which leads to higher concentrations of flavour and sweetness. The grapes were picked very ripe, and in good condition before being destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tank. The wine was later filtered, stabilized, and bottled in April 2022.

Pair with Okanagan peaches wrapped with basil and prosciutto or someone’s famous apple pie.
