Wild Goose 2021 Black Brant

A deep, dark and inky ruby coloured Port-style wine. The nose is intense with stewed black plums, Christmas cake, paprika-infused dark chocolate, liqueur chocolate cherries, shortbread, violet, cooked blueberries and vanilla. The palate is sweet and rich, balanced with crisp acidity and firm tannins built for ageing with intense and complex flavours of cocoa powder, black cherry, stewed blackberry, fig, pepper, saffron and blueberry jam with a long finish. ~ Rhys Pender, Master of Wine
