Wild Goose 2020 Merlot

A bold Merlot with lots of ripe damson plum, liqueur chocolate cherry, licorice, blackberry, dried fig, violet and chocolate on the nose with hints of leather and burlap. The palate is full bodied with crisp acidity and medium tannin with mint, orange zest, milk chocolate, paprika, baking spices and toasty oak alongside the ripe dark fruits. Pair this with classic asada tacos, braised lamb shank or caramelized roasted beets. ~ Rhys Pender, Master of Wine
