2011 El Ganso Sherry - 500ml

Okanagan Zinfandel in a Sherry style with plenty of aged complexity? Why not! This 2011 shows complex tertiary notes of toasted nuts, raisin, orange zest, licorice, clove and cocoa, along with ripe black plum fruit. The palate is intense, medium sweet and packed with flavours of dried cherry, fig, raisin, leather, toasted walnut, quince and espresso with a long, spicy finish. – Rhys Pender, Master of Wine
