2022 Pinot Blanc

This Pinot Blanc opens with a lovely nose of white flowers, white peach, and lemon zest. There’s a pleasant viscosity nicely wrapping the crisp acidity. Subtle almond nuttiness at the finish lingers and mingles with a touch of sweetness. It’s a characterful Pinot Blanc with a charming fragrance and clean freshness.

Our 2022 Pinot Blanc was produced from grapes grown in our Mystic River estate vineyard in Oliver, with its ideal terroir for this varietal due to a layering of topsoil over pure gravel. The fruit quality was exceptional and very ripe. 20% of the juice was fermented in French and American oak with this portion benefitting from a weekly stirring of the lees over its 3 months of barrel ageing. This small-production wine was later filtered, stabilized and bottled in May of 2023.

Pair this with a falafel quinoa salad with sunchoke hummus or crispy squid calamari and serrano yogurt.
