2022 Mystic River Gewürztraminer

A powerful, aromatic nose of classic Gewürztraminer traits - rose petal, lychee, Turkish Delight, honey and papaya. The palate is off-dry, full-bodied with medium acidity and the lush texture and tropical fruit is balanced by fresh lemon, pear and baking spice notes with a long finish.

The grapes for our 2021 Gewurztraminer were harvested by hand in September and October 2020 from vineyards between Osoyoos and Summerland. Grapes from each vineyard were processed separately and each was aged for 5 months. The wine was blended with the intent of keeping the Gewürztraminer flavours and aromas fresh and at the forefront. The wine was later filtered, stabilized, and bottled in April 2022.

Pair this with prawn, coconut and pineapple grilled skewers or clove studded, glazed ham.
