2021 Stoney Slope Riesling

A powerful, intense Riesling with aromas of lemon and lime, green apple, nectarine, honeysuckle, grapefruit and lemongrass with a chalky, mineral note. Just a hint of sweetness but fresh from the racy, crisp acidity and with more zippy citrus fruits, wet stones, peach, lemon verbena and mandarin peel with a long, lively finish.

The grapes for our 2021 Stoney Slope Riesling were harvested in September upon reaching the ideal level of ripeness. The majority of the fruit (80%) was grown in our vineyard where the winery is located in Okanagan Falls. The grapes were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tank before ageing for an additional 5 months. The wine was later filtered, stabilized and bottled in April 2022.

Pair with grilled prawns marinated in lime and garlic, lettuce wraps or lemongrass chicken skewers.
